Corporate Transformation describes the change process of a corporation. These changes within an organization can take place at different levels. For example, a company can change their business purpose or their portfolio. Such changes will always result in adjustments to the operational and/or organizational structures within the company. Implications will follow for staffing policy and the company’s procurement portfolio. Regardless of whether the corporate change process is triggered from within the company or is caused by changes in the corporate environment, it makes sense to actively develop and to accompany the resulting corporate change with appropriate measures. Therefore, in this context one often refers to corporate transformation, which transfers the company from situation "A" to situation "B".
